Opinion & Seminar: WE NEED MORE HEALTH – NOT MORE HEALTHCARE

In the US, we have the most expensive health care system in the world. Yet
we also have some of the worst health outcomes. Why do we spend so much and
are so unhealthy?

Research shows how, even across economic, political and racial divides,
Americans agree on what they need to live good lives. In this month’s TED
Cafe we will discuss how to find common ground in the search for better
health — a plan that asks health care providers, patients and politicians
to focus on what makes us healthy, not what makes us angry.

Please bring your wisdom and join us as we discover how to work together on
an issue that affects all of us.
