Jalapeno Poppers of Champions

18 fresh jalapenos, halved lengthwise and seeded.
1 (8 ounce) package of cream cheese (softened)
1 (5.25 ounce) package frozen vegetarian bacon strips (or go old school and eat meat!)
thawed toothpicks


Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C)

Spray a baking/ cookie sheet with canola oil

Fill each Jalapeno halfway with cream cheese

Wrap one bacon strip around each Jalapeno half and secure with toothpick.

Arrange wraps on baking sheet.

Bake 12 minutes in preheated oven or until bacon strips are crisp

Serve warm
